Jared Tendler, MS. LMHC

Strata Consultant

Jared Tendler is an internationally recognized mental performance coach with over 20 years of experience working with individuals operating in high-pressure, results-driven environments. His clients span more than 45 countries and include professional and elite amateur athletes, executives, entrepreneurs, attorneys, financial traders, and world-class performers across sport and business. Jared’s work focuses on helping performers solve persistent mental game challenges, improve decision-making under pressure, and achieve consistent, sustainable performance.

Jared is the founder of Everyday Golf Psychology and the author of three best-selling books, The Mental Game of Poker Volumes 1 and 2 and The Mental Game of Trading, with his next book scheduled for release in spring 2026. His writing and coaching are widely regarded for their practical, direct, and systems-based approach to performance improvement.

Jared’s interest in performance psychology grew from his own competitive experience. As a collegiate golfer at Skidmore College, he was a three-time All-American and nine-time tournament winner, yet struggled to perform at his best in national-level competition. Motivated to better understand the mental side of performance, he earned a master’s degree in counseling psychology and became a licensed mental health counselor. His methods have since been applied successfully across sport, finance, and other high-stakes performance domains.

In addition to working with clients, Jared remains an active competitive golfer. In 2013, he qualified for the U.S. Mid-Amateur Championship and continues to compete in regional tournaments. He is a member at Jericho National Golf Club in New Hope, Pennsylvania.
